JULY!!! Mingzhu and me grads from NTU! CC and Poy comes to support..this is really a month of mixed emotions...started work at DHL..

June 2005 - so eventful....my dear friend from uni days, Shawna got married on the 5th June, was her "jie mei" and her violinist...:p 

My papa celebrates his 62nd birthday on the 7th May 2005!! 

7th May! Shawn and Christine, brother and sister from our church got married at lovely Botanic Gardens! Played their march - in song with much "fear and trembling"...anyone wanna hire me? wahahah

Easter Service! 27th March.....really really tired out i remembered...CN had to keep feeding me sweets...in the midst of preparing for my final exams and rehearsals...here with my fav Saxophonist - Steven EU!!:P

5th March 2005 - InAugural Tertiary Service! Second time played with the Youth WAM Band..Yaoguo- Keyboardist, David "Ah Seng" Chua, Davin the guitarist and Hendra - Percussionist..:)

27th Feb 2005 - hahah Wenjiang, our faithful Electric Guitarist and rising Bassist left the Adults Service to go to the Inaugural Tertiary Service..the AWAM band misses him! :P

February 2005 - Chinese New Year Festivities..:) Chinatown bash..all the house visits 

In the midst of trudging through Chinatown..we went to visit the old Kreta Ayer-Peoples' Theatre where we held our Church Service..here all the "Hope-pies" gathered!! 

Chinese New Year! Yupps my my granny's granddaughters!! we have only one grandson from my mother's side...the one on the extreme right is Karen - air stewardess for SIA..:) pretty right? 

The first of 12 WEDDINGS IN 2005! my sec school fren - Lay Leng got hitched in Jan...she used to sit beside me in Nanyang! :P time flies!

It's the start of many "First's"...

Woke up with a really thankful heart..God has removed most of the pain in my arm! I was having such excruciating pains over the last few days that whenever i move my joint..its crazy..the pain in my arm seems to bite into my bone..As i lay down to sleep last night..i know some friends were also praying for me! Thanks Wils! much appreciated! :)

I could play on the violin again without much cringing at the pain when i hold the bow! Praise God!

Had my first violin lesson of the year...my teacher taught me new exam pieces and I was still amazed at how God healed my arm cos just the day before i could not even hold the violin properly...I managed to finish one exam piece just like that...wow God You ARE AMAZING!!
times of refreshing...it must be these moments you have with God when once again small things like this that God has done for you perks your day and most certainly the year ahead for you!

Was so excited that we could meet Jess initially then found out that she has to stay at home..sigh..do pray that God would touch her heart even in times like that...Had really wanted to watch a Christian VCD with her...Really hope that God will open up more doors for us to talk to her...

First KTV session of the year!!

Wahahh my dear friend Jer celebrates his birthday on the 3rd Jan...we all KTV gang finally met up after many changes in schedule cos we are all in the different ministries now...Chukai, CK, Jer and me, sang our hearts out..:P It's been really a long while since we all last met and had really good fun....Jer = Hokkien "gua" maestro, Chukai and CK = Cantonese hits! my dialect is really terrible! :p

My sis had her first stint as a Secondary School teacher in Chinese High School later today!

This is so cool...for the first time she will be teaching Sec school boys....she's totally freaked out, having to take a form class and also 6 classes of English and Literature. the two elder sisters frantically rampaged our wardrobe for office clothes, shoes and bags just for her...good if you have all your sisters same height eh? so cute....she had so much on her mind that she's was all jittery and simply could not get to sleep..i guess when you are teaching a bunch of boys and when you are only 18 will most certainly drive you up the wall...Kudos to her courage!! I have not even dared to teach Secondary school before!!!

That was certainly a MOMENT..

I captured it in my mind like a beautiful mental picture. We all held hands and presented our requests to God while I prayed a short prayer of blessing...may The Lord bless her heart even at this time and even to help her experience more and more of You!The first time she did not resist that much and even muttered a small "Amen" at the end! It was so beautiful i tell you...how long i have yearned for this day! :P just decided to made a bold request to pray for her together at that moment....When i held her hand...Lord You assured me that You would watch over her and I felt peace..wonder if she feels the same...

Made me realise one thing, the moments that you can have with your family are so short and we really do have to make use of every opportunity to let them too experience Your love and Your most surpassing greatness ..this is a small step...looking forward for more...:)
